In an information society, we can access knowledge 24/7. Information becomes a stimulus and floods us.The Info Souvenir project seeks to offer an alternative means of documenting informative events. The documentation of the lecture series creates a possibility to consciously retrieve information — a concept aimed to capture, reproduce, and retell moments. Exclusive access to an associated online archive is provided through punch cards. This analog storage medium can be re-read digitally and offers access to a comprehensively curated audio documentation of the lecture. In this context, documentation is not only the reproduction of knowledge, but also strives to capture the intangible essence of a moment and give it a tangible form. By utilizing atmospheric sensors, the events were measured in real time and translated into a three-dimensional, audio-reactive data object. This experimental approach redefines documentation and enables visual re-listening–an innovative means of reinterpretation. (interactive documentation, 2024)
