Exhibition Design for IS OK IT?

Concept, key visuals und exhibition materials for the exhibition IS OK IT? at ZIRKA Space, Munich. (exhibition design, 2024) What purpose should design serve, what topics should it address? What are the needs of our society and our environment? What happens when design moves away from industrial restrictions and expectations? Design, like any other profession, has its limits. Instead of clear answers, the exhibition takes up questions and takes us on a search for underrepresented topics and their communication — and at best provides aesthetic solutions. Unconventional thematic formulations are only a small, but not insignificant part of the designer‘s profession. By visualising and materialising such issues, design can make a major contribution to more desirable social scenarios and decisions.
