Design as a way of thinking: At the Heldenplatz in Vienna, we used the facades of three temporary parliamentary pavilions with texts of laws on democracy, which are laid around the building like strings of pearls. Parliament pavilions - The word at the right place The task was to design the façade of three pavilions at the Heldenplatz in Vienna as an alternative location for the Parliament, which is currently being renovated. We won the Austria-wide competition presentation and were able to implement our ideas. Such a prominent place to present our expertise doesn't appear twice. We received the German Design Award for this. From the jury's statement: "The idea of displaying selected texts on democracy on the façade is fascinating in itself. But the fact that the aesthetic implementation is no less impressive makes this project absolutely extraordinary. A striking way to remind people of the principles of democracy - a message that is thus brought to the attention not only of the people, but also of politicians and, moreover, guests from all over the world."
