Portraits

Coming from a documentary photography background, I approach photographing people not with a preconceived concept, but rather through observing and spending time with them. Even when taking portraits, there is never a concept for the pictures and I just try to create an atmosphere where the photographs can just happen. Allowing the pictures to be a surprise and sometimes they are even more like a present for the person photographed as well as for myself.
