The House in the Field is a made for resting and enjoying the nature, a second home to a four-person family living in the city. Members of this family often like to replace the city burrow with peace and quiet in the field, among the mandarin trees. The orchard, in which the house is located, is owned by the family over several generations and has always been a place for gathering. It is located at the foot of the hill, rich in vegetation, giving space a strong sense of intimacy and privacy. Within this orchard, the young family imagined an object of smaller dimensions, made in materials easily accessible and economical. The house is formed as a white cube, raised to a hight of 0.5m. The entrance to the building is emphasized through the confrontation of vertical and horizontal levels. Thus, the entry part provides users with more privacy and protection against wind and rain. The total area occupied by the building equals 75m², with dimensions of approximately 11.5mx6.5m, including the entrance floor.
