PLUMA TRACK BIKE

Since our first concept published back in 2010 and after one year of development, the Pluma Track Bike Prototype is ready to fly over the track. The Pluma Track Bike Prototype is made of Carbon sandwich/ PVC foam core AIREX R63.80 body panels. The overall shape will help the airflow along the bike body, and increases the rider's security by reducing the number of moving parts and tubes where they can be seriously injured - unfortunately, serious falls are usual during a velodrome track cycling race. PLUMA is a fixed-gear bike, and like all professional track bikes, don not have brakes. Frame: Carbon sandwich/ PVC foam core AIREX R63.80.  Drive train: One gear for the track 51 x 15. Rear-wheel: PRO Track Carbon Disc (less drag in the closed rear fairing) Front-wheel PRO 5 Spoke Carbon Track.
