The Extinction wedding bands

The pair of these wedding bands were made around the idea of one of the most known exctinctions on this planet: the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. As the title suggests, it represents destroying the old to make room for the new. Both silver rings have been carved in wax, then cast in silver. One ring, the female, is as white as it gets and has a black volcanic stone set. The other ring, the male, has a white quartz with a dark and strong black patina. The shapes suggest the meteor impact, the new rock that resets life.
