Pinto desde siempre. Desde mis primeros recuerdos infantiles.
La razón es muy simple: el pintar me hace feliz.
Es suficiente con eso? En una primera aproximación, podríamos decir que sí. El pintar alegra los días y mejora mi vida. Pero el pintar es también una forma de expresión y eso requiere de un interlocutor. Me gustaría que mis creaciones pudieran llegar a la gente y de alguna manera provocar una emoción.
La fuerza de la emoción con la que yo creo mis personajes. Porque en mis obras intervienen la curiosidad, pero también la pasión y la compasión.
Me gusta pensar que en el proceso de creación llego a conocer íntimamente al personaje retratado, ya se trate de una persona real o de una invención. Hijos del espíritu, mi familia imaginaria.
Y quiero que algo de ese conocimiento secreto pueda llegar al espectador. Qué hay detrás de la piel de la realidad? Un mundo que subyace a la estética de lo visible: las vidas, bengalas en el tiempo, de personas que como nosotros tendrán que recorrer su camino y desaparecer para siempre. Vidas mejores y peores, de recorrido tortuoso o de luminoso discurrir, pero siempre individuales y solitarias; muchas condicionadas ya desde el origen y otras bendecidas por la suerte...pero siempre solitarias y únicas.
Y cómo no, el misterio. La sonrisa oculta, la mirada severa, el desamparo. Qué están pensando? Qué determinó su existencia? Sienten, sufren? Las vidas de los demás también son la nuestra.

I paint from always. From my first childhood memories.
The reason is very simple: painting makes me happy.
Is that enough? In a first approximation, we could say yes. Painting brings joy to the days and improves my life. But painting is also a form of expression and that requires an interlocutor. I would like my creations to reach people and in some way provoke an emotion.
The force of emotion with which I create my characters. Because in my works intervene curiosity, but also passion and compassion.
I like to think that in the creation process I get to know intimately the person portrayed, whether it is a real person or an invention. Children of the spirit, my imaginary family.
And I want some of that secret knowledge to reach the viewer. What is behind the skin of reality? A world that underlies the aesthetics of the visible: the lives, flares in time, of people who like us will have to go their way and disappear forever. Better and worse lives, of tortuous route or of luminous discourse, but always individual and solitary; many conditioned already from the origin and others blessed by luck ... but always lonely and unique.
And of course, the mystery. The hidden smile, the stern look, the helplessness. What are you thinking? What determined its existence? Feel, suffer? The lives of others are also ours.

Formed in Schools of Art in Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona and Bilbao has had as teachers of painters such Tinus Castanyer, Maria Luisa Magraner, Pedro Quetglas "Xam" Ramón Navarro, Hector Orruño, Beatriz Aparicio, Richard Pérez Franco .. .

Clara de Bobes draws its material from a file in continuous development of personal photographs and images torn from magazines and newspapers. His paintings are not a literal interpretation of the photographic sources. The size, presentation and color make them a picture of what we see, what underlies the aesthetics of the visible, with an emotion and passion under the skin of everyday reality, drags us into the realm of dreams .

Bobes stripped him of his public image portrayed and gives it another identity, not less obvious stop intense and faithfully represent the subject, showing his soul from the canvas, we look through.
